How it all started

In 1978 I (Solveig) took over an Old English Sheepdog bitch that had been imported from England, Searwell Peaceful Dream, (Sacha).  It didn’t take long for her to get her Norwegian and Swedish Champion title. When I was choosing my kennel name it was just naturaul that I should choose Peaceful Dream. Sacha had 4 litters. I kept 2 bitches from her litters. Pernille and Sabina. Unfortunately Pernille had HD grade C so she wasn’t used in breeding, but she did very well in the show ring and got her Nordic Champion title.  Sabina had 2 litters and I kept one of the bitches, Sandra. Sandra had a litter, with tails. This was the last litter I had with Old English Sheepdogs because of the new rules forbidding tail docking

At the same time as I found out that Pernille (OES) had HD I accepted an offer to buy Tintavon Daniella (Tibetan Terrier) from Paul Stanton in Sweden. Kicki quickly became Int. Nordic Champion. She was a fantastic dog but sadly she died far too early. She had 3 litters and I kept a bitch, Tuva, from one of the litters and owned her together with Solvei Røsok, Kennel Champaca in Tønsberg.  When Tuva had a litter I kept a bitch, Champaca’s Peaceful Dream, (Ditte) Who I owned toghethr with Caroline. For a few years I didn’t have any dogs at home until I got Rogell’s My Peaceful Dream Champaca, (Marte). Marte got her Norwegian Champion title right after her 2nd birthday. I owned Marte together with Solvei Røsok and Ellen Lind, Rogell Kennel in Lundamo, Trondheim, Ellen Lind signed over her share of ownership in Marte to me after Marte’s first litter.

Caroline joined me in the Kennel in 2005. at that time she had “Ditte” and a male dog Tseepo Kyi’s Bstansig Lamleh (Dennis) from Tove Kongelf, Oslo, and Champaca’s Fang-Kiki Peaceful Dream (Kiki), who she owns together with Solveig Røsok.
